Tudobest L tablet consists of an active substance called Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate, which belongs to the class of antiretroviral or antiviral medicine. This medicine treats HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) and HBV (hepatitis B virus) infections. It is a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) and works by inhibiting the enzymes (HIV reverse transcriptase; hepatitis B DNA polymerase) that are important for virus replication. It should always take in combination with other medicines to treat HIV infection. This tablet is suitable for the adult and adolescents aged from 12 to 18 years. For HIV, this medicine is given to adolescents who have already been medicated with other HIV medicines which are no longer fully effective due to resistance or have caused side effects. This tablet is not studied in patients over 65 years of age.

Common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, flatulence, trouble sleeping, headache, rash, sinusitis. These are usually not serious, however, inform your doctor if they bother you or do not go away. This medicine can also make you feel dizzy or drowsy, so it is advised to avoid driving. In addition to that, avoid alcohol consumption as it may increase the intensity of the side effects. While on the treatment, generally, some people may experience bone pain. To cope up with this you can take calcium and vitamin D supplements as per your doctor’s advice. Birth control pills are ineffective with this medicine, therefore other reliable birth controls should be used.

Before starting with the treatment, you should consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have any kidney, liver, or bone disease. If you are HIV positive, you should not breastfeed or share personal belongings like razors or toothbrushes. Do not use Exemptia 40mg Injection if you are allergic to adalimumab or any of the other ingredients present in this medicine. Do not take this medicine if you have active tuberculosis or other severe infections. Do not consume this medicine if you have moderate or severe heart failure. Inform your physician if you have any active infection before starting the treatment. Tell your doctor if you have lung problems, heart diseases, liver or kidney disorders before initiating the treatment. If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice about taking this medicine.
